Safety

Report a hunt location

Pair Hunt tries to generate hunts around suitable public areas, but real-world locations can change. Never enter private property, roads, water, restricted areas, construction sites, railway areas, or any place that feels unsafe.

If a hunt or card appears in a poor location, stop playing and report it to us.

Location

Location access

Pair Hunt needs foreground location access to place you on the hunt map and unlock nearby cards.

You can start as a guest. Signing in helps keep your profile, avatar, XP, collection, and progress connected to your account.

Hunts

No hunt nearby?

If no suitable hunt is available, try again later or move to a public park, square, or walkable neighborhood area.

FAQ

Common questions

Why does Pair Hunt need my location?

Pair Hunt is a real-world memory game. Location is used to show your position, check whether you are inside a hunt zone, and unlock cards when you get close enough.

Does Pair Hunt track me in the background?

No. Pair Hunt is designed for active play and uses location while you are playing a hunt.

Can I play without signing in?

Yes. Guest play is available. Signing in later helps keep progress across sessions and devices.

How do I delete my Pair Hunt account?

You can delete a signed-in account from the Profile screen in the app. For full steps, visit Account deletion.

What should I do if a card appears somewhere unsafe?

Do not go there. Stop the hunt and email support@pair-hunt.com with the approximate location and what made it unsafe.
